Description
The boy Danny Torrance from "The Shining" is now middle-aged, goes by Dan, and has been drifting for decades, trying to shed his father's legacy of despair, alcoholism, and violence. Finally, he settles down, finds support at a local AA group, and gets a job at a nursing home. Aided by a prescient cat, his remnant shining power provides the crucial final comfort to the dying. But when he meets a very special 12-year-old girl with the shining, he finds himself involved in a battle for her soul and his own survival.
